I know what you’re thinking: “Michelle, aren’t you a website design & SEO company for small businesses? Why are you talking about workflows and automation in your FIRST blog post?”
It’s a valid question. And I’m thrilled to answer.
While I’ve been designing websites and writing copy for 20 years, I’ve only just begun turning it into a real business. I’m what we apparently call a “babypreneur.” I’ve learned a lot from listening to podcasts and being a member of amazing Facebook groups for small business, and one thing that kept coming up was Dubsado. Don’t bless me; I didn’t sneeze. I’m about to introduce you to my favorite element of the back-end of my growing business (I don’t count of my amazing website tools back-end. They’re MY front line).
Small businesses need good systems
I started out doing billing and invoicing through QuickBooks because that the first one I could think of and knew it was related to tax reporting. However, along with it, I had to use another program for scheduling, another for brainstorming and organizing, ANOTHER for posting to social media with automation… It was just too much. I felt like I was running around in circles, duplicating my efforts, sending more emails than I should have to, and just not getting anywhere for it.
Then, a few weeks ago, I was listening to a podcast about building automation into your workflows, and they highlighted Dubsado. They also offered a “5 Days to Launch Challenge” that paired coaching through product development, packaging, pricing, marketing, and launching a new product with how to integrate an incredible client experience through Dubsado. Before we were even finished with the first day’s homework, I was already migrating all of my information into Dubsado to make it my forever home.

Why Dubsado is Bae:
The very first text you see on the Dubsado site explains it all way better than I ever could. (Nice work, marketing team!):
Dubsado is a business management solution designed to cut out the busywork. Build relationships, schedule appointments, and create workflows to streamline your projects from start to finish.
They’re not just whistlin’ Dixie, either.
Honestly, I could probably blog about Dubsado weekly for the rest of the year and still not cover everything about the system and customer service team that blow me away.
So what you should do now?
If you’re a small (OR ANY SIZE) business owner, you need to head over to Dubsado and check them out.
